When I got married, my father-in-law would borrow the truck when he needed one. The truck had a toolbox in it, which made strapping down church tables difficult; as they sat on the toolbox and tailgate. His solution was to tie rope around the forward lash points and twist overhand loop knots to hook his ratchet straps. I used them occasionally, carrying lumber and equipment, but the knots never seemed to be in the right place. My solution was to run chains, large enough to hook straps through, from the forward to rear lash points. This made securing equipment and materials simple and convenient.
A couple months after I began using them, I lost my job and resorted back to handyman/residential construction to cover bills. I saw a lot of people securing their equipment and materials in interesting and creative ways, or not securing them at all. I saw this as an opportunity to offer our industry something that saves time, while protecting materials and equipment.
I began the process of establishing an LLC, patenting the product, designing a website, social media pages, as well as sourcing materials and products to provide consumers with the best combination to suit their individual needs. We’re currently looking at ways to improve production, increasing customizable options, and developing other solutions for the community.
Our products have revolutionized the lives of many people whom now refuse to go back to being chainless.
We are constantly examining needs within our customer base. To improve our products and create new solutions.
There are many different ways to use our products. We have only begun to see how creative people can get with such a simple concept.
